We take a thematic approach to Chinese L2 learning, where a series of over 200 books is organized around the most common themes, such as hobbies, transportation, sports, travel, school life, and so on. Under each theme comes five books of different text types and written from different angles. Many books have the form of a conversation or a dialogue, and this helps students develop conversation skills in authentic contexts.
